This is the U5/U6/U7 Grassroots program, here we will see players practice days located at the Ranch Market Soccer Fields in Strathmore. There will be 8 weeks total with 1 session a week.

• Parent(s) must stay for all practices and games
• Parent(s) may be asked to help with certain activities

• Practices are on Mondays from 5:15 pm - 6:00 pm (no longer on Wednesdays)
• Sessions are led by a Jr Coach who are over seen by a Sr Coach
• Practice days 
• May 1, 8, 15, 29 (no practice on Victoria Day)

This is the U10/ U11 Grassroots Development Program, this is will be a transition to PARENT COACH led program; here we will see players practice and play home games in Strathmore, and away games in different communities or locations (locations, Dates and Times are TBD). There will be 2 sessions a week for this program, a practice day and a game day.

This is the U10/U11 Grassroots Development Program for our District League, this is will be a transition to PARENT COACH led program; here we will see players practice and play home games in Strathmore, and away games in different communities or locations (locations, Dates and Times are TBD). 

• Coach Requirements:
• This is will be a transition to PARENT COACH led program
• We will need parents to volunteer as coaches and to travel with the team
• Coaches will be required to complete coaches training
• Strathmore Soccer recognizes the importance of investing in our coaches. We will full reimburse all Coach Training expenses after a coach has volunteered 2 seasons with the club. Of course, we hope our coaches will stay longer and progress with their player, learning and developing as they go! 
• Each team will need both a Male and a Female Parent coach
• This is Mandatory, if we do not have coaches, we do not have any teams to play your children on

Program details:

• There will be 2 sessions a week for this program, a practice day and a game day,
• 2nd practice maybe be scheduled, but this is at the Coach's discretion and availability
• 8 Week season

• Game Days - Thursdays from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

• Game will consist of two 25-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime break
• Will be 7v7 or 6v6 with a keeper
• Will have coaches and an Alberta Soccer Certified Referee
• Tournaments:
• Mid season mini tourney
• End of season mini tourney

CMSA (Birth year 2013- 2004)  - Game Day kit purchased separately

This is for our Outdoor teams for players born in 2013 - 2004. If we have enough players registered, we will split the teams by gender, but if there isn't enough of each gender to make a team, we will run a Coed team in the interest of giving everyone the opportunity to play.

• Here is where we begin to have higher expectations of our players, including:
  • Updating the Team app to RSVP your players attendance to each practice and games 
  • Commitment to participate in practice and games, this is a team sport, we rely on each player to do their part
  • Arriving a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the game (or more if required by the coach). 
  • Arriving 5-10 minutes prior to practice with full water bottles and to ensure that cleats are done up and the player is ready for the start on time
  • Arriving for practices and games dressed and ready to go in appropriate attire.
  • Participate in the stretches and warming up with the team prior to practice/game start
  • Behave in a manner that is representative of Strathmore Soccer and their team
• This program includes: 
  • 2 weekly practice - one with a technical focus which will be scheduled around CMSA schedule 
• We play all our teams in CMSA
• Home games and practices are in Strathmore at the Ranch Market Soccer Fields, or alternatively at Hillview
• CMSA sets the schedule which will come out on April 21
• Games commence April 29th
• Game Season is April 29th until July 30

Adult Drop-In Program - Register HERE

Starting April 15, 2023 with the flexibility to continue through summer and into early fall (weather permitting). All skill levels are welcome.

• 2 Weekly session on Thursday Evening 
• Cost is $75 Per and we play till the snow flies!
